The European Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) deadlines for the call for proposal are approaching quickly. Proposals need to be submitted by the 26th of February or 31st March, depending on which action you are interested in applying for.

Our Norwegian partners - VOX have translated their web based resources ‘Mathsaid’ and the ICT basic training course ‘ABC pc’ to English. Both are free of charge, and may be very useful in many Family Learning contexts.

Although Mathsaid has a Norwegian setting, it serves as an example of numeracy training through everyday maths tasks. This may prove useful to parents who need to understand more maths in order to assist or understand their childrens tuition.

ABC pc is a four module course that gives basic training in the use of computers. It may be used by parents and children together – even if one part already knows how to use a computer.

Vox have made ABC pc easy to translate into other languages. You can download source files and a translation at:
